Evaluation- Question 4

Feedback from other people in my class:
Jessica Higginbottom, 16, media student-
Front Cover- "I would buy it, good use of colour, image shot on the front cover is good, reasonably priced and very realistic due to the barcode and feature stories."

Contents page- "The colour scheme and fonts are consistent and good. Good use of secondary images."

Double Page Spread- "Image shot is very good. Questions and answers are good, seem like a realistic conversation. I like the pull quotes."

Ella Moor, 17, media student-
Front cover- "I like how the text (Main feature story) fits around the main image. I like how you have the conventions of the barcode and price."

Contents page- "I like the different sections of 'celebs', 'gossip' 'wins and offers' and the 'featured' section. I like the separate images inside. I like how the numbers and text are the same colour."

Double Page spread- "Could have done more questions. Good pull quotes. The model fits in with the genre of the magazine. The exclusive part is yellow and I like this part."

Overall...
From the feedback given I believe that my pop magazine does fit with an audience of younger teenagers around the ages of 10-17. From the feedback from my peers I can see that the conventions I have used are good, however I could have made improvements for my double page spread and created more questions. One of my peers said they would buy my magazine due to how it looks like a very conventional pop magazine due to the colour schemes, front cover image and pull quotes.
